Makhachkala, June 17, 2015. The rector of Dagestan State University (DSU) Murtazali Rabadanov by the decision of the XIII Congress of the Eurasian Association of Universities has been elected to the Board of the organization.

The Board, which includes 29 rectors of the leading universities of CIS countries is elected for five years.

According to the press service of DSU, the congress was held in April in St. Petersburg, but the decision on the composition of Board and the Audit Committee of the Eurasian Association of Universities has been published not long ago. The Board also includes the rector of Belarusian State University Sergei Ablameyko, the rector of the Eurasian National University named after L.Gumilev Nurlan Sadykov, the rector of the Russian Peoples' Friendship University Vladimir Filippov and others. The Chairman of the Board is the President of the Eurasian Association of Universities, the rector of Moscow State University Viktor Sadovnichy.
