Makhachkala, December 15, 2014. The delegation of Dagestan State Technical University has participated in the All-Russian Student Forum – 2014 that took place in Moscow on December 10-11, the university press service reports.

The event was initiated by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation with the participation of federal executive bodies and public associations. Dagestan was represented by the vice-rector on educational and social work of DSTU Marina Kotenko, the educational and social work department head Rumina Ashuralieva, the chairman of the University Youth Committee Madina Rustamkhanova and others.

The main theme of the forum was the development of Russian scientific, technical and engineering students’ associations and design offices.
According to organizers, the main goals of the forum were to develop a strategy, to create new conditions for professional, creative and social self-realization of young people and students, with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, as well as to discuss the contemporary professional standards in engineering professions, to form project initiatives and to develop an active life position of youth.

The grand opening ceremony took place in the auditorium of Intellectual Center Fundamental Library of Moscow State University named after M.Lomonosov.
All participants of the forum more than 1000 people in total including the young scientists, engineers and innovators from all over Russia participated in contemporary business games, discussion platforms and expert sessions, discussed their projects with the leading Russian experts, gained experience of interaction with government agencies and participated in professional workshops.
