Makhachkala, August 12, 2014. On the weekend, Daghestan minister of natural resources and environmental protection Nabiyula Karachaev visited Levashinskiy, Sergokalinskiy, Akushinskiy, Kayakentskiy and Derbentskiy districts to inspect how subsurface resources are used, the ministry’s press service reports.

The minister spoke to the heads of the ministry’s departments who were accompanying him in the trip, heard their problems and suggestions.
Karachaev noted that the ministry will support and work with entrepreneurs who will in good faith comply with all points of the license agreement, carry out the required remediation actions and pay taxes in full. Otherwise, they’ll face punitive penalties, and their licenses will be canceled.

The delegation visited all the careers in the regions, audited the existing roster of entrepreneurs working in the field of subsurface resources use, shoot and photographed all the careers for an extended illustrated report to be presented to Daghestani leadership.
