Makhachkala, October 12, 2015. The history and social science teacher Uma Yusupova, representing Dagestan at the All-Russian contest "Teacher of the Year -2015", entered the top twenty of the best teachers of the Russian Federation.The finals took place in Kazan and brought together the regional tour winners.

The Russian Federation deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets, the Education and Science Minister Dmitry Livanov, the Rector of Moscow State University Viktor Sadovnichy took part in the solemn awarding ceremony.

Uma Yusupova teaches at Makhachkala multidisciplinary lyceum № 39 named after B. Astemirov. It should be noted that Jusupova had continuously worked in school for more than 20 years. In her lessons, Yusupova uses innovative methods of working with students and pays great attention to the patriotic and civic component of the subject.
