Makhachkala, February 9, 2017. Yesterday, February 8, the Head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov, being on a working visit to Moscow, met with the Director General of the JSC "Giprogor" Mikhail Grudinin. The meeting, organized in the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Dagestan at the Russsian Federation President, was also attended by the president of the economic partnership, "New economic growth" Mikhail Dmitriev and the director of the regional development department of the LLC "Infrastructure Economics Centre" Sergei Lozinsky.
The parties considered several aspects of formation of the new model for economic growth and identified new growth drivers for the impetus to economic and social development of the region. Besides, the top officials discussed the strategy of development of transport infrastructure within the metropolitan agglomeration Makhachkala-Kaspiysk.
Ramazan Abdulatipov, in particular, recalled about the positive dynamics of industrial development of Dagestan moved the region to the leading positions across the Russian Federation. "The pace of industrial development of the republic makes up 137% nowadays. This is actually the first position in the country. The same dynamics is observed in the agriculture. In the conditions of crisis, we managed to fully implement the plans for the collection of taxes in 2016. By optimizing state expenditures, we additionally managed to save 5 billion rubles. In 2015, we saved approx. 4 billion rubles ", - Head of Dagestan stated.
At the same time, Abdulatipov pointed out that Dagestan was the first subject of the Russian Federation where the project management was introduced.
As part of the discussions, it was noted that the prospects of urban agglomerations are closely linked with the implementation of specific investment projects involving the development of infrastructure, the construction of industrial objects, the solution of problems related to the housing construction and communal services. Similar projects should be economically effective and beneficial for the development of all spheres of city life – the discussion participants concluded.
