Makhachkala, April 16, 2015. Dagestan State Technical University got prestigious awards of the 18th Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovation Technology "Archimedes-2015" which was taking place in the Sokolniki Ecocenter April 2-5, the press service of the university told RIA Dagestan.

The university stand showcased the latest developments by DSTU lecturers, undergraduates, graduate students and students in thermoelectric instrumentation, engineering, nanotechnology, construction, information technology, etc.

Their most interesting and promising exhibits were assessed by the international jury that awarded the inventors with 8 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze medals, a special prize "Best invention in protecting the rule of law", the Nikola Tesla gold medal (Serbia), and the Taiwan Cup for the youth developments series.

The DSTU exposition has been highly appraised by the salon experts. In the follow-up of the event, the university was granted the Cup for active work in developing invention and innovation in the region and the Diploma of reverence and gratitude for their active participation in the salon. Seven DSTU lecturers earned sign of the "Laureate of Archimedes International Salon" for active annual participation in the event.
