Makhachkala, July 10, 2015. Yesterday, July 9, the officers of the republican Committee on Freedom of Conscience and Cooperation with Religious Organizations held a meeting of the Organizing Committee for holding the II International Youth interfaith Forum with the participation of representatives of Grozny and Makhachkala diocese.

The participants of the meeting discussed the process of preparation for the Forum, the readiness of "Sunny Beach" recreation zone to host the Forum delegates, the approximate program for holding the event and the list of participants.

"The Forum should be held at the high organizational level, since it was included into the list of events within the framework of celebration of the 2000th anniversary of the city of Derbent" – the Committee Chairman Suleiman Magomedov said.

Let us remind the Ist International Interreligious Youth Forum was held in 2014 in the recreation center "Kizlyar Lagoon" with the participation of more than 100 young people aged 16 - 30 years from the regions of the North Caucasian Federal District, South Ossetia and Azerbaijan. Large-scale event were focused on the formation and strengthening of spiritual and moral values among the younger generation, education and benevolent correct perception of ethnic and cultural diversity of the region. Dagestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov took part in the Forum too.

"This year, the Forum is expected to involve over 150 young people. Apart from the representatives of regions of the North Caucasian Federal District, the delegates from Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Crimea and Belarus will arrive in Dagestan" - S. Magomedov summed up.

The representatives of Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, the permanent representative of the RF President in the North Caucasian Federal District, the State Duma deputies, the heads of government of the Republic of Dagestan, religious and public figures of the Russian Federation will attend the Forum as the guests of honor.
