Makhachkala, October 31, 2016. The specialists of Dagestan Centre of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery participated in the VI scientific and educational conference of cardiologists and physicians of the Caucasus, held recently in Grozny.

The Russian Ministry of Health, Representative of the Russian President in the North Caucasus Federal District, the Ministry of Health of Chechnya, the Russian Society of Cardiology, and Cardiology Foundation initiated the conference for Assistance "Kardioprogress".

As informed, the conference was attended by cardiologists and physicians from 15 regions of Russia. The director of Cardiology, Chief Specialist in cardiovascular surgery in the North Caucasus Federal District, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation Osman Makhachev presented a report entitled "Cardiovascular Surgery in the North Caucasus Federal District: results of 2015" at the plenary session.

The next specialist from Dagestan Fizuli Abbasov made a presentation on "The endovascular surgery at Dagestan center of cardiology and cardiovascular surgery: results of three years of work."

All the reports, made by the representatives of Dagestan delegation, received a positive feedback from the meeting participants and also they noted an active dynamics in the provision of high-tech medical care in Dagestan.
