Makhachkala, December 15, 2014. The New Year is coming! It’s the most long-awaited holiday for every child. Today, we have a chance to give a piece of our warmth and good mood to families who affected by war have known grief and misery.

Given the upcoming New Year holidays and school holidays, Dagestan Head called Dagestanis to take an active part in the charity event "Christmas tree to Novorossia" held in Russian regions at the initiative of the Children Rights Ombudsmen Association.

As part of the campaign, Dagestan ministries and agencies sent over 1,000 gifts to children in Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. Dagestan ministry of education and science has been the major contributor to this campaign.
