Makhachkala, October 28, 2014. The 5th Daghestani youth innovation convention will be held in the Rasul Gamzatov Daghestan National Library in Makhachkala, 10 am of December 2, a source in the ministry of youth affairs told RIA "Dagestan".

Finalists of the republican contest of youth innovation projects organized in 2014 by the Youth Innovation Centre of Daghestan ministry of youth affairs will present their projects at the convention.

The contest aims at activating young scientists and inventors in innovation area, increasing motivation of young professionals creating innovative technologies and products, enhancing attractiveness of innovation for youth, creating an environment for dialogue and exchange of experiences between participants to the innovation process, and forming a favourable public opinion about Dagestan’s innovative potential.

There will be categories such as: "Best innovative project", "Best innovative product", "Best IT-project", and "Legal and economic support of innovation".
3-4 pm, the convention will be solemnly closed with awarding the winners of the event.
