Makhachkala, September 4, 2014. As of now, over 1,200 people have applied for participation in an international educational youth forum "Caspian Sea-2014" scheduled to run 25 September - 4 October in Daghestan , minister of youth affairs Zaur Kurbanov said yesterday to a conference for media and bloggers on forum’s informational support.
The forum will take place in the "Kaspiy" resort in Manas village, Karabudakhkentskiy district. There will be 2 sessions – 25-29 September and 29 September - 4 October – gathering over 600 young people from the major cities of Russia and North Caucasus republics.
"Caspian Sea-2014" has become a brand of Daghestan. We have an intense educational program. Like a year ago, we are introducing a business game "Efficient municipality" to the youth to master project management skills. I am sure that each participant will be helpful to his or her municipality, republic, and country," said the minister. In turn, reporters and bloggers told Kurbanov about their vision of the forum’s informational component like proposed starting a forum’s radio or creating a forum’s video diary to be broadcast on TV.
A lot of youth officials, young scientists, professionals, students, entrepreneurs, creative people, athletes and volunteers will participate in the event. They will present their ideas and projects aimed at the socio-economic development, stabilizing political situation, improving the quality of life and safety of citizens. The forum will feature interactive sites, sporting events, creative workshops, seminars, competitions and volunteer campaigns.
