Unemployment decreases by 2.5 times in Northern Caucasus - Khloponin

Makhachkala, November 13, 2015. The deputy Prime Minister Alexander Khloponin, responsible for the development of the North Caucasian Federal District, reported about 2.5 times decrease in unemployment (from 467 thousand to 189 thousand) over the past five years.

Khloponin noted a significant reduction in unemployment in recent years. "The situation in Chechnya and Ingushetia is still difficult. Experts register 15% unemployment rate. Few years ago it totaled 45% and 30% respectively" - TASS quoted him as saying. In the remaining five regions of the North Caucasian Federal District the situation is approximately the same as in the whole of Russia.
