Russian Ministry of Culture hosts meeting with deputy of the State Duma Yuri Levitsky

Makhachkala, November 15, 2016. The day before, the deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Party "United Russia", a member of the State Duma Committee on Culture Yuri Levitsky met with the deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Alla Manilova. The official event took place in the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.  

During the meeting, Yuri Levitsky reported on the work in the field of culture executed in Dagestan. The top official narrated on the events initiated by Dagestani Leader Ramazan Abdulatipov, including the celebration of the 2000th anniversary of the city of Derbent, the creation of traditional culture centers of the peoples of Russia, the reconstruction of Dagestan State United Historical and Architectural Museum named after A.Taho-Godi, etc.

The parties also discussed the issues related to the republic's participation in the federal target program "Culture of Russia for 2017, "Sustainable Development of Rural Areas for 2014 -2017 years, and for the period up to 2020".

Alla Manilova, in her turn, noted the great attention paid by Ramazan Abdulatipov to the development of culture in the republic, as well as the active work of the republican Ministry of Culture.

The deputy Russian Minister of Culture assured Yuri Levitsky, that the Ministry would carefully consider all proposals suggested by the republican authorities and they would be accommodated whenever possible.

The meeting was also attended by the director of the Department of Tourism and Regional Policy, Olga Yarilova.
