Ramazan Djafarov meets with rector of Assiut University

Makhachkala, July 24, 2015. On July 23, the vice premier of Dagestan Government Ramazan Djafarov met with Mohamed Eid Mohamed Abdelsamea, the rector of Assiut University, Arab Republic of Egypt.

The meeting also brought together the deputy Prime Minister RD Gasan Idrisov, the rector of Dagestan State University Murtazali Rabadanov, the coordinator for cooperation with universities in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Salah Mohamed Hassanein Abuelhav and others.

Having welcomed the distinguished guests on behalf of Dagestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov and the Prime Minister Abdussamad Gamidov, Ramazan Djafarov wished them a pleasant and fruitful stay in Dagestan.

"Our republics have always been on friendly terms, and we certainly appreciate it. The cooperation between Dagestan and Assiut universities will without doubt strengthen the relationships among our people. The internship programs for both Dagestani and Egyptian students are not only a qualitative education, but also a perfect way to get familiarized with the culture of other nations, to arrange business contacts and meetings. Especially taking into account that Dagestanis have always respected the Arab culture", - Ramazan Djafarov pointed out.

At the same time, the deputy Prime Minister expressed hope for further cooperation, strengthening and development of relations between Dagestan and Egypt.
During the conversation, Djafarov drew the attention of guests to the fact that Dagestan had always been a multi-ethnic republic, where historically all religious peacefully coexisted in harmony for centuries.

In his turn, Mohamed Eid Mohamed Abdelsame warmly thanked for the invitation and hearty reception. “Our meeting and constructive talk show fraternal feelings of our peoples," - the rector noted.

Speaking on strengthening the scientific and cultural ties between the republics, the rector of Assiut University expressed an intention to continue establishing mutually beneficial cooperation.

As it is reported, the honored guests are going to visit the ancient city of Russia – Derbent, Kubachi village and other historical sights of Dagestan.
