Ramazan Abdulatipov participates in joint meeting of State Council and Council for Culture and Arts

Makhachkala, December 25, 2014. On December 24, a joint meeting of the State Council and the Presidential Council for Culture and Arts under the chairmanship of Vladimir Putin took place in St. George Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace in Moscow. The regular session for the discussion of state cultural policy was also attended by Dagestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov, the press service of Dagestani Head and governmental administration reports.

The top officials discussed the principles of interaction among the state authorities and public organizations, creative, scientific and educational communities in implementation of cultural policy. Particular attention was paid to the process of ensuring the freedom of creation, preservation and use tangible and intangible cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia for purpose of education, the development of Russian and ethnic languages, literature, creation of a favorable information environment for formation of personality.

The participants also focused on the need to create the fullest possible accounting for implementing cultural policies of national, ethnic, cultural and regional characteristics of different regions of the Russian Federation.

Opening the meeting, RF President said that the country has taken the foundations of the state cultural policy. According to V. Putin, the document “perceives the culture as a mission, as a public good, as a historical heritage, as a system of moral values and ideals."

As repeatedly Dagestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov pointed out, "the vector problems of state cultural policy, including its regional model, is gradually shifting to the awareness of importance of personal and professional resources development not only in culture, but also in the economy. As part of the regional model of state cultural policy there will be monitored its effectiveness and assessment of the cultural environment. "
