Ramazan Abdulatipov inaugurates new cultural and recreation complex in Gumbetovsky district

Makhachkala, November 10, 2014. Daghestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov, paying a working visit to Gumbetovsky district of Daghestan, today has inaugurated a new cultural and recreational complex in the village of Mekhelta, the press service of Daghestani Head reports.

The center of the traditional culture of the peoples of Russia, Central Library Network of the district, a museum, a cultural center, a swimming pool and a gym are located in the building complex.

The construction of the facility has been conducted within the framework of the federal target program "South of Russia" since 2009. The total cost of the project amounted to RUR 257 million.

When opening the cultural and recreational center, Daghestani Head pointed out that the Mekhelta village had significantly changed in recent years for the better.
"Today I haven’t recognized Mekhelta - I found gentrified area and splendid village. As for the cultural center, I am sure it will become a cultural center for not only the municipal district, but the whole of Daghestan"- Abdulatipov said.

Ramazan Abdulatipov thanked all those who contributed to the construction of cultural and recreational center in Mekhelta village.
"Once more I want to thank all initiators, especially those who made this center the most popular among the young people and the entire population of the district" - R. Abdullatipov noted.

"All the negative in our lives came fr om the fact that the school education distanced from the society and the problems of life-arrangements. The same thing happened to the houses of culture. Many of them are abandoned and ruinous, what can we say else? Wh ere are we going to, what did we receive, what ideas and moral principles do we follow? If we cannot solve these problems, we will never achieve well-being of our republic. We need to speak about these problems. If we can’t become a jamaat, a solidary Daghestan people, Russian people, we will never live well and our kids will not have future" - Daghestani Leader concluded.
