Comfortable, safe and favorable for life socio-cultural environment, efficient investments into education, sustainable development of the republic are among the expected results of the program.

In his introductory speech, Ramazan Abdulatipov said: "We are looking for a new model of education development in Dagestan because the last one based on lies and bribery for the past 20 years.

If the education system has not a sufficiently high level of morality, this system will never be effective. That is why, it is important to return to the qualitative education. We have to solve so much problems and issues in the educational sphere of Dagestan. Dagestan also needs a new educational program but ethno-cultural characteristics should be taken into account. The system for identifying gifted and talented children does not function, I think, we have to create large boarding schools and to pay special attention to preschool educational institutions".

In his turn, Alexander Kondakov noted that till 2020 Dagestan should enter the top twenty Russian Federation regions in educational system developing. "Firstly, we must socialize and bring up the younger generation in accordance with spiritual and moral traditions of the republic and the country. The young Dagestanis have to absorb the best of our culture, including the system of family values. "

According to Kondakov, the program provides improvement of teachers’ professional skills.

"From our point of view, Dagestan State Institute for Advanced Studies will become a center of education infrastructure uniting all Dagestan communities around these important issues. Moreover, we are already planning to improve the Unified State Examination in 2017. These goals are ambitious but achievable, and they require serious interagency cooperation. Besides, the detailed coordination among the institutions of culture, sports, law enforcement agencies, traditional religious organizations should be provided"- Alexander Kondakov concluded.

The working meeting was also attended by the first deputy Prime Minister RD Anatoly Karibov and the republican minister of education and science  Shakhabas Shakhov.
