Makhachkala, August 17, 2015. On August 16 in Derbent, Dagestan leader Ramazan Abdulatipov chaired a regular meeting of the Council of heads of municipal districts and urban districts of Dagestan.
In the beginning of event, Ramazan Abdulatipov briefed the participants about a working meeting with the Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin.

"Today, the country's leadership pays great attention to Dagestan. Before the meeting with the Russian President, I, together with Dagestan Government and Parliament prepared 10 topical issues to discuss, and all these issues were supported by Vladimir Putin. The country’s leader is interested in the state of affairs in the republic, and asks further details", - Ramazan Abdulatipov noted.

Dagestan Head voiced the main theme of the council meeting – the budget discipline and the efficiency in the expenditure of local budgets, stressing the urgency of the matter related to the problems with the execution of the budget legislation.

"It is necessary to change the principles of the budget process, to motivate all administrative levels to economize budget spendings. Dagestanis should receive money allocated for their support. Today, the republican authorities report on spending financial means but no one reports on the budget losses and revenues. The supervisors have to work in this direction ", - Dagestani Head stressed.

The meeting participants also discussed the degree of preparedness for the celebration of the 2000th anniversary of Derbent.
