Makhachkala, May 24, 2017. Ramazan Abdulatipov held a working meeting with Sergei Kravtsov, the director of the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science (“Rosobrnadzor”) of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, who is on a working visit in Dagestan.

Stressing the significance of Sergei Kravtsov's visit to the region on the eve of holding the Unified State Examinations, Ramazan Abdulatipov also noted his role in organizing joint work with the regions and stabilizing the situation with the USE in the republic.

"In recent years, we have been restoring the education system, we received the gratitude of the Government of Russia for the good conduct of the Unified State Examination, but the quality was not very good, therefore we invited Ekaterina Tolstikova to be the deputy chairman of the Government of Dagestan. She is a very conscientious, qualified person. Much has been done to improve the quality of education" the Head of Dagestan said.

Abdulatipov also expressed his confidence that Sergei Kravtsov would assist in solving some issues related to the overproduction of university graduates in a number of specialties and the deficit of professionally trained workers in some specified fields.

Sergei Kravtsov thanked Dagestani leader for the warm welcome, noting positive changes in the educational sphere of the republic. This, according to Kravtsov, relates to the construction of schools and kindergartens and the reduction of unscrupulous branches of higher schools. Sergei Kravtsov also stressed the need to strengthen attention to the quality of education and work with educators.
