Makhachkala, May 22, 2014. On May 21, the Governor of Astrakhan Region Alexander Zhilkin has paid a working visit to Daghestan, the press service of Daghestani Head and Government Administration reports.

Daghestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov, the chief of Head and Government Administration Ramazan Aliyev, the deputy chief of the Head and Government’s Administration Ismail Efendiev and the minister for National Policy Alexei Gassanov went to meet Alexander Zhilkin in Makhachkala airport.

Daghestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov heartily welcomed the conference participants, Governor of Astrakhan Region Alexander Zhilkin and a speaker of Parliament of the Chechen Republic Dukuvakha Abdurakhmanov. Then the discussion panel "Cultural codes and valuable bases of mountain civilizations" of the Experts’ Forum "Caspian the Grey-Haired" on "Mountain civilization in the face of global change" started.

It should be noted that during the working trip to Daghestan, the Governor of Astrakhan Region is expected to sign an agreement between the Government of Astrakhan region and Daghestan authorities on trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural cooperation. The guest of honor will be fully acquainted with the investment and implementation of the republican priority projects.

A concert of Astrakhan State Song and Dance Ensemble and the creative team "Peace to your home" will take place after the official ceremonies and minutes.
