St. Petersburg, May 25, 2014. On May 23, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum featured a plenary session on "Building trust in the era of change" with participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Daghestan Head Ramazan Abdulatipov also took part in the meeting, the press service and information board of the head and government’s administration told RIA "Daghestan".

Speaking at the event, Vladimir Putin said in particular: "We appreciate the mood for collaboration and dialogue, your independent and responsible position free from any current conjuncture. Consistency and transparency always provoke reciprocal steps and reciprocal trust. Trust is primarily a search for compromise, mutually acceptable solutions, collaboration, and joint actions."

The president noted that Russia has been recognized as the 3rd country in the world to attract direct investment, and we intend to move on.
