Daghestani government, Russian industrial investment fund and the corporation "Watan" sign a cooperation agreement

Makhachkala, April 23, 2014. The agreement among Daghestani government, the Russian Industrial Investment Fund and the Corporation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs "Watan" on implementation of activities aimed at attracting investment in hydropower engineering has been signed today within the All-Russian cultural and investment forum "Culture and Economy of Regional Policy in Modern Context".

The Prime Minister Abdussamad Gamidov, the president of the Russian industrial investment fund Alexander Bagnyuk and the president of the Corporation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs "Watan" Gadzhi Aligadzhiev affixed their signature to the document.

"We have large-scale plans relating to the small hydropower stations development. This sphere has received considerable attention in Daghestan and special measures for the implementation of these plans were taken; in particular, it is expected to invest about RUB 5 billion. The works will be commenced in the near future. Besides, some investment projects presented at the forum in Daghestan will be implemented in the near future and in the medium term ", - the head of the Cabinet ministers of Daghestan stressed.

Alexander Bagnyuk noted that the entrepreneurial activity reached its maximum.

"We have investment sites in Moscow, where we made acquaintance with Gadzhi Aligadzhievich. And in order to develop our cooperation, we decided to sign the agreement. This will attract investments into Daghestan in five directions, "- Bagnyuk concluded.
