Makhachkala, May 23, 2014. Today, an official ceremony of signing a cooperation agreement between Daghestan Ministry of Press and Information and the Nizhny Novgorod Ministry of IT, Communications and Mass Media took place in the House of Friendship in Makhachkala. Following the agreement, the 2 ministers – Aznaur Adzhiev and Sergei Kuchin – agreed to work together on developing the bilateral relations within the ministries and subordinate media. They also agreed to jointly cover the celebration of Derbent’s 2000th anniversary and the 300th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod region.
The parties also signed a cooperation agreement on Daghestan ministry’s collaboration with "Minnova" JSC - a company that specializes in introducing advanced technologies and solutions to improve the quality of life and work. The company is actively developing new business areas giving the priority to customer's wishes; they strive to build smart systems providing efficient use of time, material and intellectual resources. They also signed a cooperation agreement with «Trend Media» JSC – a company creating and using databases and information resources.
In the beginning, Daghestan minister of press and information Aznaur Adzhiev welcomed his colleagues and noted that the Nizhny Novgorod delegation’s visit to Daghestan was very important."Your visit to Daghestan indicates our regions’ desire to cooperate. I am pleased to note that in Nizhny Novgorod region, people know Daghestan not as a region of regular explosions, terrorism and extremism, but as a region of normal working people," he said.
In turn, Sergei Kuchin thanked Aznaur Adzhiev for the invitation to Daghestan and noted that, despite the short stay in the republic, he felt like home here. "I hope that as part of implementing our agreement, Nizhny Novgorod region and Daghestan will enjoy long-term collaboration to develop the information sector in both regions," he concluded.
