Radio "Vatan" recognized as best radio in Northern Caucasus

Makhachkala, June 8, 2015. The All-Russian conference "Prospects of development of regional broadcasting in Russia" where the radio "Vatan" was recognized as the best in the Northern Caucasus, took place June 5 in the hotel "Radisson Slavyanskaya" in Moscow, the press service of Dagestan Institute of Humanities informs.

"More than 300 delegates, including the representatives of the largest Moscow and regional media holdings, the top managers of state regulatory authorities, the leading experts of the radio industry, the major regional radio businessmen and investors have participated in the event" - the university spokesman says.
According to the university press service, the award for the best radio in the Northern Caucasus was handed over to the radio "Vatan" (Makhachkala, Dagestan) for becoming the winner in the All-Russian competition in the field of broadcasting «Radio Station Awards 2015".

At the ceremony, "Radio" Vatan "was represented by its Director General Jamaludin Aliyev who expressed gratitude to the organizers of the contest, thanked everyone who was not indifferent and voted for their favorite radio "Vatan". The Director General of "Vatan" assured the audience that the station would continue its work and make every effort to further development. A few months ago an open vote had been announced. Everyone could vote for its favorite radio station with the help of social networks.
