Makhachkala, September 29, 2016. Today, on September 29 the dance battle "Highlander 2" has been held on the area in front of the Russian Drama Theater in Makhachkala.  Makhachkala hosts the Youth Dance Battle for the second time. Last year, the best dancers competed in modern dance. This time, the organizers announced "Lezginka-Battle".

The competitors have already been defined; they are both professionals and novice dancers. Every participant chooses rival by coin flipping. The spectators judge the performances in the first stage. In the second and in the third ones the professional jury of Dagestan State Academic Ensemble called "Lezginka" will act. The winner of the competition will receive a diploma of Dagestan Ministry of Culture and a master class from the honored dance ensemble "Lezginka".

"The main goal of the event is to involve young people in the art of dance. Besides, we try to promote a healthy lifestyle and to support youth creativity ", - the organizers’ representative said.
