Japanese pianist Chisato Kusunoki gives concert in Makhachkala

Makhachkala, November 27, 2014. A world-known musician, Japanese pianist Chisato Kusunoki, gave another concert in Makhachkala and the conducted master classes for students of the Kazhlaev Dagestan school of arts, the school press center told RIA "Dagestan".

November 23, Chisato Kusunoki met with the students of the Kazhlaev school for gifted children. It was a really long-awaited meeting by the school creative groups and soloists. Young pianists Ella Atracheva, Marat Ramazanov and Kumsiat Salmanova were lucky to participate in a master class where each student got valuable advice and suggestions from the virtuoso pianist.

November 24, Chisato Kusunokia gave the concert in the hall of the Kumyk Music and Drama Theatre. She played Beethoven, Chopin, and Murad Kazhlaev whose music shone new colours in her performance. The young vocal ensemble "Gunib" she had worked with in Moscow accompanied her performances at the concert.

Murad Kazhlaev thanked the Japanese pianist for the show, and it was the best appraisal of her skills for Kusunokia as well as Dagestani audience’s loud applause.

"I am happy to have found a performer of my own that truly hears and feels my music. This is a space girl of incredible talent and enormous memory," he commented.

On November 25, Chisato Kusunoki visited the Gamzatova Museum of Fine Arts. She said it was an unforgettable experience, "I came to my favourite composer’s homeland, here I met people who are truly in love with music, responsive audience and talented children. Now, Dagestan for me is a place I want to be back soon," the pianist shared.
