Makhachkala, April 24, 2014. Daghestan Ministry of Culture signed a cooperation agreement with the Kazan State University of Culture and Arts.
The agreement was signed today in Makhachkala as part of the Russian cultural and investment forum "Culture and Economy of Regional Policy in Modern Context". Daghestan Minister of Culture Zarema Butaeva and the rector Rivkat Yussupov were the signees.
The subject to the agreement is cooperation in continuing professional education – the vocational retraining and further training in the university’s professional areas with using modern types and forms of training in accordance with the statutory objectives and economic interests of each party to the contract.
"The university and the ministry consider the goals of the joint educational activities to be training young professionals based on Daghestan needs, continuing their personal professional education and vocational qualifications in their major, and their intellectual, cultural, physical, and moral progress.
The university and the ministry are also developing a single continuous system of vocational educational training "From College to University" to intensify pre-university training of prospective students, deepen integration of secondary and higher education, and provide the educational process on the basis of unified cross-curricula," Zarema Butaeva said in an interview with RIA "Daghestan". She also said that an agreement will be signed today with the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts, too.
