Makhachkala, February 17, 2014. On February 14, Daghestan cultural and tourism potential was presented at the Olympic Park, the press service of Daghestani ministry of culture reports.

Since February 7 - the date of opening of 2014 Cultural Olympiad - all the Russian regions are demonstrating their panels. The Cultural Olympiad will run until February 23 (before the official closing ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games).

The cultural panels of subjects of the North Caucasian Federal District (500 square meters in total) consist of cultural and historical sites, tourist and recreational facilities, telescopes through which everybody can see objects in 3D, a demonstration of image movies, video commercials, and slideshows about the North Caucasus republics.

Such sights as fortress Naryn- Kala, Itsarinskaya tower, a  fortress of seven brothers and a sister, Matlas and other cultural, historical and tourist places of interest have been demonstrated  on the panel of the Republic of Daghestan.

In the zone of artistic craftworks, Daghestani craftsmen provide master classes. The guests can observe the birth of a real art in progress.

A bigger part of the presentation takes a concert program of Daghestan State Academic Dance Ensemble "Lezghinka ", the  presentation of Daghestan tourist potential and the national dishes tasting ceremony. The guests and visitors left comments about their experiences in the book reviews and expressed gratitude to organizers of the presentation.
