Creative evening of Dagestani poet Timur Radjabov takes place in Moscow

Makhachkala, October 5, 2015. The creative evening of Dagestani poet Timur Radjabov took place October 1 at the State Mayakovsky Museum within the Year of Literature in Russia, the Permanent Mission of Dagestan at the Russian Federation President told the RIA "Dagestan".

At the event, organized by the museum administration and the officers of the permanent missions, the poet read his poems, those known to all who are interested in his work, and the new ones, the little-known works.

For the present time, Timur Radjabov is a laureate of Yusuf Happalaev Prize (Makhachkala, 2012) and the international poetry competition "Silver Archer 2007" (Los Angeles). He is the four time laureate of the all-Russian Forum and civic poetry festival under the auspices of the Moscow City Hall "Memory Clock" and "Moscow Salute" (2006-2012). He has more than 20 awards and prizes in both large and small literary network and non-network competitions. In 2006 he published his book of poems "Naughty wine."

Timur Radjabov’s works had repeatedly been published in well-known literary and political journals and newspapers in Russia, Europe and the United States: "Day and Night" (Krasnoyarsk, Russia), "Moskovsky Komsomolets" (Moscow, Russia), "Lamp and chimney" (Moscow , Russia), "Foreign backyard" (Hannover, Germany), "Seven Arts" (New York, USA) and others.

In January 2014 the Moscow House of Nationalities hosted the official presentation ceremony of Timur Radjabov’s book of poems "Readable" organized with the assistance of the permanent representative of the Republic of Dagestan at the President of the Russian Federation. By the way, being born in the high mountainous village of Dagestan, Timur entered Gorky Literary Institute with the recommendations given by Rasul Gamzatov that already speaks for itself. At the end of the evening Timur Radjabov signed autograph on the collection of his poems for everyone.
