Makhachkala, August 11, 2015. The event gathered creative collectives, musicians, artists, craftsmen from all districts of Dagestan, the guests from Moscow, St. Petersburg and other Russian cities, the representatives of various ministries and departments and municipalities of the republic.

The festival in the village of Balkhar has been organized on the initiative of director group of companies "Calibre", a native of Balhar Rasul Kalandarov. The executive thanked all those involved in the preservation of cultural and historical heritage of his native land, who took part in organizing cultural events. As part of the exhibition-fair held within the framework of the event, the guests could buy handicrafts, taste national cuisine and learn about the traditions and customs of Balkhar residents.

Besides, the festival included the business part, which consisted of round-table discussions and meetings. In particular, the participants of one of them decided to build a Centre for traditional culture of the peoples of Russia in the village designed to create all conditions for the development and implementation of creative abilities of villagers.
