Makhachkala, March 27, 2015. On March 24, famous American jazz musician Jamie Davis gave a concert with Dagestan Philharmonic Orchestra in the Russian theater, which was one of the biggest concerts of the season, a source in the republican ministry of culture told RIA Dagestan.

Jamie Davis is a singer who has always followed the best "golden jazz era" artists. He shared the stage with grand legends of his time, such as Patty Austin, Tony Bennett, George Benson, and others. One of the brightest pages of his career was being the headliner and singer with the famous Count Basie Orchestra.
The jazz man is an owner of an unusually beautiful baritone with a soft velvety timbre. American music reviewers called his perfect classical voice a "chocolate voice", or even a "sugar voice".

"I used to sing classics at school when I was a little boy, but then I grew up and had an opportunity to opt for the music I like. Since babyhood, I had known I wanted to become a professional musician which I would certainly be my career. Music is a whole world for me, and I am honored to be a jazz singer. I like the feeling of jazz inspire excitement and admiration on the stage," Jamie Davis confessed.

Jamie Davis is a very charming man both on the stage and in life. At the intermission, he went to the audience to give his autographs and photograph with the spectators. There were so many of them that the performer had to continue this session after the concert right on the stage. The most enthusiastic fans had an opportunity to extend the evening with Davis into one of the city clubs.

During his three-day stay in Makhachkala, Jamie Davis met with many people, saw the city, enjoyed the restaurants and even bought a jacket in one of the city shops.
