Makhachkala, February 13, 2017. One of the most significant historical monuments of Tabasaranskiy district of Dagestan - the 19th century mosque, located in the village of Djuly will soon be reconstructed.
In the XIX century the mosque was a traditional place of worship among the Tabasarans. The distinctive feature of the mosque is the wood and stone decorations that will be historically reconstructed in strict accordance to the historical appearance. The round minaret built at the distance of 1.5 meters from the eastern wall of the mosque, is a rare example of religious architecture of the Tabasarans.
