Makhachkala, March 4, 2015. They plan to hold a republican forum "Transport. Road construction. Security. Traffic" on March 10 in the House of Friendship in Makhachkala, the press service of Dagestan Head and government’s administration told RIA Dagestan.

The forum is there to discuss in detail the road and transport system development and how to improve road safety. One of the key tasks here is finding solutions to the existing problems in the industry with the assistance of experts from other regions, using their experience in installing new technologies.

The event will be attended by Dagestan Head Ramazan Abdulatipov, government members, deputies of Dagestan Nationals Assembly, officials from ministries and departments, heads of cities and regions, representatives of the Federal Road Agency, and guests from other North Caucasus regions.

As part of the forum, samples of modern road equipment used in road design and construction will be exhibited on Lenin Square at the heart of Makhachkala. Meanwhile, each forum participant will be presenting their information stands, mockups, and other materials in the foyer of the House of Friendship.

The plenary session will be preceded by a documentary about Dagestan road and transport sector and measures they take in the republic to ensure safety on the roads. After the film, participants will hear speakers’ reports and then they’ll exchange their views.
