Regular interregional exhibition "Business Daghestan - 2014" to take place in Makhachkala

Makhachkala, March 19, 2014. On March 20-21, the 9th Interregional Exhibition "Business Daghestan - 2014" will be held at the Gamzatov National Library in Makhachkala, said "Daghestan -EXPO" CEO Magomed Saruglanov at today's press conference.

The exhibition is supported by its participants: Daghestani Head and Government Administration, the ministry of economic and territorial development, the ministry of trade, investment and enterprise, the ministry of industry, transport and energy, the ministry of state property management, the ministry of press and information, the ministry of communications, and the Makhachkala administration.

The event will include conferences, seminars, "round tables", and presentations. Over 100 companies and organizations from Daghestan and other Russian regions will participate in the exhibition. They are the "KEMZ" concern, the "Dagdizel" plant, the Gadjiyev plant, the Buinaxk aggregate plant, the "Steklovolokno" (Fiberglass) plant, "Daghestan" NBT, etc. The exhibition will bring together delegations from Stavropol region, Chechnya, Ingushetia, and other regions.

According to M. Saruglanov, the exhibition’s focus will be industrial products, innovative technology, transportation, communication, telecommunication, and IT. He said the exhibition aimed at helping manufacturers, wholesalers and retail firms from different Russian regions promote their products in Daghestan and North Caucasus markets.

"Many well-known Daghestan entrepreneurs are going to participate. We're almost ready for the exhibition. At the moment, installation works and stands decoration are underway. Hosting a significant event like the "Business Daghestan" exhibition will enhance developing interregional and foreign economic relations of enterprises and organizations. The event will create a favorable investment climate, attract potential Russian and foreign investors to the Daghestan economy, and do a lot more,"- Magomed Saruglanov said.

CEO of Daghestan centre for business development Vagab Vahabov said he hoped that "Business Daghestan - 2014" will showcase Daghestan’s entire potential in this area.
