Makhachkala, March 1, 2017. Dagestan Head Ramazan Abdulatipov has participated in the plenary session of the Russian Investment Forum, opened in Sochi on February 27, the press service of Dagestani Head and Government administration reports.

By tradition, the session has been opened by the Russian Federation Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, who warmly welcomed the participants of the event.

"The forum is always a good place to debate, to look at potential new partners, to present the economic opportunities of the companies and the regions. Now we have decided to hold the Forum in February. This is our main winter Forum focused on the regional problems and opened to all the interested.
Of course, I hope all the participants will enjoy the end-winter and early-spring weather in Sochi.

Besides, we are still discussing the challenges coming up to the Russian government. In the past few years, these issues were aimed at overcoming the economic crisis, the problems caused by the global economy, the volatility of commodity markets and the structural imbalances existed in our economy, and, of course, the sanctions for our political position.

Today we can safely say that we all have learned to handle these challenges. The fall in gross domestic product has ceased. The January statistics showed an output in real disposable income into the positive zone - its growth makes by about 8% compared to last year indices.

Of course, the one-time pension payments played an important role, but excluding, the real incomes of our citizens began to increase. Perhaps, this is one of the most important results of the current economic period. It is necessary to consolidate all of these trends"- Dmitry Medvedev said.

Then, the participants proceeded to the discussion of the Forum agenda.
