Project of Caspian City multifunctional complex provides economy-class housing and social facilities

Makhachkala, February 9, 2015. As part of Makhachkala-Kaspiysk agglomeration under the Caspian City project, they plan to build four kindergartens for 230 each, a school for 1,200, and economy and business class housing, chief architect of the Russian Institute of Urban Development and Investment of the Giprogor JSC Alexander Erzovsky told RIA Dagestan.

The project will build 600,000 m2 of housing, a few 4-star and 5-star hotels of 16,000 m2, and two enclosed parking lots for 4,000 on the area of 50 hectares.
"The permanent population in the multifunctional complex is expected to be 13,000 people. Also, there will be 8.7 hectares of green space, 11.5 hectares of children's sports and utility areas and some places for rest," the official said. In the center of the complex, there will be a building 40-45 floors high - a multi-storey building with two towers connected by a pedestrian subway.

"The mini-city will also have two sport and fitness complexes with different specializations. The first one will have a wrestling and fitness gyms, the second one will have a swimming pool in it," Erzovsky said.

The project is supposed to be implemented within 3 years.
