Makhachkala, December 4, 2015.  The International airport "Makhachkala" received permission to serve the Airbus A321 and its modifications, the spokesperson reports.

The permission was confirmed by an official letter from the Federal Air Transport Agency and in accordance with the act of readiness of the airport to serve the aircrafts of this type.

"For airport, the opportunity to serve the A321, opens up new perspectives. In particular, it will expand its route network and attract new airlines to Dagestani capital.

Besides, it will increase competition among carriers and reduce the tariffs"- the source noted.
