Makhachkala, July 18, 2014. The Kaspiysk float glass plant is everyone’s knowledge, and it’s no wonder – for the past few decades, it’s been one the most ambitious projects in Daghestan in terms of investment, technology, and production. The plant is a large-scale investment project – an industrial enterprise in Tube village, Kumtorkali region, producing 600 tons of flat glass per day using the latest advanced technology in glass industry.
Visiting the plant, you’ll see it is in good fit – it is working, it’s living a healthy life and it is dynamically developing, ramping up their production and successfully selling it. The staff is sure they can successfully perform in a sufficiently dense competition environment and produce high-quality products meeting the best world standards. Their confidence is based on the fact that the company has the best modern equipment, the latest technology, and highly qualified workforce.
Today, the plant manufactures clear float glass branded Caspian Crystal Clear. They plan to produce tinted, energy-saving and solar control glass.
"We produce very high quality glass," - says production director Vadim Novoselov. "In the 4th month of our work, the yield rate of M1 glass reached 85%. Moreover, CFG glass shows significantly higher quality than the Russian state standards require."
They started to sell products in January, 2014. The first batch was shipped to customers who had signed contracts on glass supply on a permanent basis. Since early May, the company has been actively exporting their products. By now, the float glass been successfully shipped to partners in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. Customers from Turkey and Turkmenistan are the next in the queue. Plus, the glass is successfully supplied to Russian regions.
