Makhachkala, July 6, 2016. Investors from St. Petersburg take interest in the "Port-Petrovsk" project, the press service of the Agency for Entrepreneurship and Investment RD reports.

Yesterday, July 4, the head of the Agency for Entrepreneurship and Investment RD Bashir Magomedov together with the Director General of the Eurasian center "Astana" Alexei Tkachenko examined the investment site "Port-Petrovsk" located in the southern district of Makhachkala.

The investors accompanied by the Permanent representative of the Republic of Dagestan in St. Petersburg Gasan Gasanov got familiarized with the main economic features of the project designed to be realized on the coastal territory of 52 hectares. The parties analyzed the investments and profits expectations as well as the issues related to transfer of municipal land.

The project "Port-Petrovsk" starts in Dagestan on the initiative of region governor Ramazan Abdulatipov. According to the business plan, 700 thousand sq. meters of various real estate will be built on an area of over 52 hectares in close vicinity to the Caspian Sea. Shopping and commercial facilities and social infrastructure will make the most of the estate - 468 thousand square meters.

The republican authorities expect that the project will become an alternative to the Black Sea resorts.
