Daghestani businessmen invited to specialized exhibition in Crimea

Makhachkala, May 12, 2014. Daghestani businessmen are invited to attend a specialized exhibition of food and non-food items called "Crimea - South of Russia" scheduled for May 31-June 1 in the Crimean Federal District.

As a source in Daghestan ministry of trade, investment and entrepreneurship told RIA "Daghestan",  the exhibit has been initiated by the Russian Ministry of Economic Development supported by the Federation Council of Russia.

The event aims at establishing contacts between business communities of the new Russian region - the Crimean peninsula – and their Russian counterparts. At the moment, over 40 Russian businesses have applied for participation in the exhibition – they are building and FMCG companies and suppliers.

At the exhibition, producers from Crimea, North Caucasus and Southern federal districts will be able to showcase their goods, establish direct business contacts with potential suppliers, and expand their market outlets.

As part of the exhibition, the organizers also plan to hold a forum for business communities of Crimea, Sevastopol, as well as Rostov, Astrakhan, Stavropol and Volgograd regions, and the republics of Adygea, Kabardino-Balkaria, Kalmykia, Karachai- Cherkessia, Daghestan, Ingushetia, North Ossetia, and Chechnya.
