Makhachkala, October 13, 2014. Daghestan Prime Minister Abdussamad Gamidov in company with minister of industry, trade and investment Yussuf Umavov inspected construction of 2 investment sites.

The first facility to be inspected was the large greenhouses of "AgroMir" farm which are almost ready for commissioning. Earlier, there were some primitive greenhouses in the farm, but in April 2014, they started to build a new greenhouse complex applying latest technology and equipment by Turkish and Israeli manufacturers, which knows no equals in Daghestan and the North Caucasus.

The construction of greenhouses on 4 hectares is scheduled to be over by the end of November, 2014. In the future, they hope to expand the total area up to 10 hectares to produce 3,000 tons of goods per year. So far, the greenhouse employs 70, the number which is to reach 200 after the expansion. In addition to greenhouses, this investment site is occupied by intensive type vineyards and orchards.

Next, Abdussamad Gamidov inspected the progress of building "Marabee" LLC – a plant producing floor tiles and porcelain gres. The project started in April, 2014 and by now, they’ve done a great job – the building is finished, original equipment from Italy is supplied. Now, they need to complete installation of the conveyer following the project schedule.

Here, the prime minister inspected the mounted mills, the manufacturing facilities and the load barn. It is a fully automated production – from harvesting raw materials to packaging finished products. Ceramic tile is to be produced using Italian glazes and colours to ensure high consumer properties and the best value-for-money factor.

"Daghestan is set to support investors and to fulfill all its obligations. We have a real investor – we work hand in hand. Daghestan really welcomes responsible investors," Gamidov said.
