Daghestan ministry of economic development discuss issues of boosting competition and creating favorable conditions for businesses

Makhachkala, May 22, 2014.  Daghestan Ministry of Economic Development held a meeting on boosting competition, improving the antitrust policy in Daghestan, and creating favorable conditions for running businesses, a source in the ministry told RIA "Daghestan".

The meeting brought together department heads and deputy heads of the involved ministries and agencies: the ministry of industry and energy, the ministry of communication, the ministry of agriculture and food supply, the ministry of health, the ministry of trade and investment, the ministry of nationalities, the ministry of public assets, the ministry of education and youth policy, the ministry of housing and building, Daghestan service of statistics, and others.

Opening the meeting, the minister of economic development Rayudin Yussufov informed that in order to create favorable conditions for doing business in 2013, Daghestan executive authorities have done a great work. In particular, they provided state support to entrepreneurs, introduced 15 points of executive authority standards to ensure a favorable investment climate in Daghestan.

Moreover, they assessed the labor market, created high-performance workplaces, provided training and re-training of highly qualified personnel, and took measures to make production, transport and energy infrastructure more available.

Currently, Daghestan ministry of regional development have prepared Daghestan Head’s draft decree "On measures to achieve target values of indicators measuring the effectiveness of the Daghestan Head’s activities in creating favorable conditions for doing business" and a Daghestan government’s draft resolution on implementing the decree.
