Makhachkala, September 27, 2016. The Nainan Airlines explores a possibility of opening direct flights from Dagestan to China, the assistant director-general of Makhachkala International airport Imara Abumislimova says.

According to Abumislimova, to take a decision on the possibility of further cooperation, the company's representatives got familiarized with the work of the airport, appreciated the technical potential, qualified staff and other resources of the airport.

"The Russian Federation Transport Ministry approved the idea and made public the relevant decision. We, in turn, are ready to guarantee all the necessary conditions, opportunities and the pricing policy ", - the director general of Makhachkala airport Arsen Pirmagomedov stated.

As to Pirmagomedov, the most attractive destination in China has been considered to Guangzhou, because of the large business interests.

"We conducted a survey among the entrepreneurs of Dagestan, Chechnya and Ingushetia. By results, the greatest demands were found out the directions to Guangzhou and Urumqi. The route Makhachkala - Guangzhou or Makhachkala - Urumqi - Guangzhou will probably be established ", - Pirmagomedov added.

Recall, that now the international flights to Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan are carried out from Makhachkala.
