Dagestan tourist potential to be presented at Beijing exhibition
"This is the instruction of Dagestani Head on the development of international and foreign economic relations of Dagestan. The main tasks of Dagestan exposition are to promote the regional tourist product to the extensive Chinese tourist market, to advertise Dagestan as a favorable region for the tourism, to establish and to develop partnership relations, business cooperation with China's tourist business.
It should be noted that in September 2016, Dagestan Ministry of Tourism (among other regions of the North Caucasian Federal District) signed a memorandum on cooperation among the executive authorities in the sphere of tourism of the subjects of the North Caucasus Federal District and the Chinese travel companies.”- the spokesperson noted.
The viewers will see the presentations of the ethno-cultural tourist routes and popular events in Dagestan, the films and slideshows. Besides, the advertising and information materials about tourist and recreational opportunities will be translated in Chinese and shown at the special exposition: a tourists’ guide across Dagestan, a booklet "Dagestan at the crossroads of the Great Silk Road, etc.
Thus, at the joint national stand of Russia, the representatives of China's tourist industry, travel companies, consumers of tourist services will receive a comprehensive information on various recreational uses in Dagestan. Dagestani representatives also intend to conclude a number of agreements with the tourist enterprises of the People's Republic of China within the business program of the exhibition.
The exhibition BITE is rightly considered the largest event of the tourist industry, considering the tourist potential of China. In the last year, 2016, Chinese citizens again became the leaders of the inbound flow to our country, providing about 1.3 million arrivals for tourist purposes.
