Makhachkala, September 9, 2015. The ministry of industry, trade and investment of Dagestan has announced a competition of goods and services' entitled “Quality mark of Dagestan”, the ministry’s press service reports.

The main goals of the event are to promote the local producers of goods and services, to encourage producers to improve the quality and competitiveness of goods and services, to consolidate the capacity of government and state authorities, private and public organizations in the promotion of Dagestan products to the domestic and international markets.

The completion also aims at creating stable positive reputation of producers of goods and services, promoting the modern management practices and ensuring their quality on the basis of Russian and international standards, promoting the legal entities and individual entrepreneurs in the practical implementation of the requirements of the Federal Law "On Technical Regulation".

The implementation of the package of measures is aimed at a broad and reliable consumer information about the best local goods and services produced and rendered in the region, and promotes quality and affordable saturation of local goods and services of the Russian market.

The companies will compete in the following categories: "Industrial production and consumer goods", "Agricultural production and food products", "Services", "Products of traditional craftsmen of Dagestan", "Successfully developing company in the field of trade" and "Food ". Each nomination has 3 degrees. The competition should contribute to the promotion of products and services in the territory of the Republic of Dagestan, as well as to contribute to the development and strengthening of local producers.
