Makhachkala, May 26, 2015. Dagestan has placed first in positive dynamics among Russia regions, says the rankings of Russian regions in families’ living standard in 2015. The rankings were prepared by experts of the RIA Novosti online edition.

They note that in Dagestan, the amount of families’ free money after minimum payments has increased by 30%. This result allowed the region to rise four lines up in the rankings.

The first places in the ranking of family welfare are occupied by Yamalo-Nenets and Chukotka autonomous regions and Moscow. The outsiders here are Kalmykia, Altai region and Pskov region. In 2015, natural population growth has been observed in all regions.

Experts of the RIA Novosti online edition come up with the families’ wealth rankings in Russian regions every year. The welfare is measured at the amount of money that remain in families of two persons working for the average region’s salary after deducting the cost of living for at least two adults and two children.
