Makhachkala, January 25, 2017. Dagestan and Vladimirskaya oblast will create a working group on the implementation of economic and trade agreement between the regions, signed last year, the press service of Dagestan Ministry of Industry and Trade reports.

The proposal to create the working group has been initiated by Dagestan Minister of Industry and Trade Yussup Umavov on January 23 within the meeting with the Vice-Governor of Vladimirskaya oblast Renat Chagaev and the heads of regional departments responsible for the development of trade and industries.
Besides, the representative of Dagestan Government in Vladimirskaya oblast Magomed Malachiev proposed to open a Trade Fair House "Dagestan" in the city of Vladimir.

The Vice-Governor supported the proposal. Then, Chagaev decided to develop a "road map" for phasing the agreement between Dagestan and Vladimirskaya oblast.

The event participants also considered the commercial and industrial potential of both regions; the participants visited the industrial museum and the exhibition center of Vladimirskaya oblast, where the samples of industrial products from all regional enterprises working within the program of import substitution and export-oriented are demonstrated.  

It is worth noting that within the framework of the working visit, Yussup Umavov also met with the head of administration of the regional center, Anatoly Vinarchik and the representatives of Dagestani diaspora living in the oblast. The parties discussed issues related to the bilateral cooperation and the exchange of experience in the industrial sector, etc.

The head of Dagestan Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations Madina Kaibova, the director of Dagestan Trade Representation in the Central Federal District Magomed Saygidov, the representative of Dagestan Government in Vladimirskaya oblast Magomed Malachiev and others attended the meetings.

Noteworthy, Dagestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov and the Governor of Vladimirskaya oblast Svetlana Orlova signed an agreement on cooperation between the regions at the Petersburg International Economic Forum, taken place in St. Petersburg last year. The document covers the most important directions of cooperation between the parties in the field of trade and economic relations, science and high technologies, education and youth policy, health and sports, culture and tourism, social protection, employment.
