Makhachkala, January 31, 2012. In Makhachkala the Association of Farmers and Agricultural Cooperatives of Dagestan held the "round table" on the financial support to the small businesses engaged in agriculture in the Republic of Dagestan. The moderators of the "round table" were the president of AFAC Magomed Abdurakhmanov and the representative of "The Russian Microfinance Center" Albert Kilchukov.

The round table was held on the eve of the logical culmination of the training seminar on financial literacy for entrepreneurs "Prudent borrowing".

According to the organizers it has become a discussion site for the leaders of financial institutions lending rural enterprises, the heads of farms that received credits, loans and want to use credit resources of banks and microfinance institutions, as well as to establish business, informal contacts between its members.

The positive outcome of the event is to make closer the participants' positions on the main issues raised at the round table. Besides, the farmers have improved understanding of the specifics of banking institutions and microfinance institutions.
