Khasavyurt, January 3, 2011. This afternoon in Khasavyurt sappers defused a powerful explosive device planted in the urban industrial area, the law enforcement source told the RIA "Dagestan".

According to the Agency’s interlocutor, the message of a homemade bomb has been received from local residents. The bomb was a 50-liter metal drum filled with ammonium nitrate and aluminum powder. The remote detonators were two grenades F-1 and a radio station. At about 15.30 the bomb was defused by sappers of the Russian FSS with a hydrodynamic destroyer.
