Makhachkala, January 27, 2012. The RF Presidential Envoy in the North Caucasian Federal District Alexander Khloponin believes that the transport logistics development and pricing policy must become the priority directions of work for the successful formation of the North Caucasian tourism cluster.
"The North Caucasian resorts are expected to create all the necessary conditions and bear the most severe spending to construct the ropeways, to arrange electricity network, to develop transport infrastructure, logistics, sewer, gas supply system, etc." - Khloponin said at the fourth conference of the Public Council of the NCFD.
The program of transport infrastructure development envisages the development of short range air traffic system that will allow tourists to travel easily to anywhere in the North Caucasian Federal District.
Khloponin said that one of the airports will be constructed built in Dagestan Derbent. It will accept tourists arriving in Dagestan to spend their vacations on the Caspian Sea shore.
Presidential Envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District added that equal attention should be paid to the pricing policy formation - "The vast majority of tourists are not interested in five-star hotels: the tourists are coming to a ski resort not to relax in the Jacuzzi in the apartments but spend a night. The rest of the time people enjoy skiing on the slopes. They will eat in cafes instead of expensive restaurants and youth clubs".
